For this newer Shorewood home, Desa Design Studio transformed an underutilized kids’ playroom into a highly functional executive home office, complete with elevated finishes and thoughtful space planning. SilverBullet served as the contractor for the renovation. We are now working on the next phase of the project: redesigning the two-story family room with a character-rich fireplace wall, a modern coffered ceiling, and a designated TV feature wall with ample built-in storage.

For this Plainfield home, the client’s father—who is in the trades—will handle construction and material procurement, but the primary bathroom’s unusual layout made it challenging to envision the best use of space. Desa Design Studio was brought in to reimagine the possibilities, providing multiple functional layout scenarios along with a cohesive design concept to guide the future renovation.

For this Bolingbrook residence, Desa Design Studio reimagined the entire main level through comprehensive space planning and interior updates. The remodel introduced a new foyer mudroom closet, added a dedicated home office, and removed a pantry wall to create a larger, more functional kitchen while preserving ample storage. We also refreshed the staircase, updated all lighting, and enhanced finishes in both the basement and upper hall areas. Construction was completed by SilverBullet.

For OS Salon’s new St. Charles location, a ground-up construction project, Desa Design Studio created a design that blends modern and rustic elements for a comfortable, elevated salon experience. We executed full space planning, developed the design concept, assisted in furniture selections, designed custom cabinetry, coordinated construction finishes, and specified lighting throughout the space. SilverBullet Inc. managed the construction for this expansion of OS2 Salon Geneva.

GTS Transportation’s new corporate headquarters in Burr Ridge is being designed to feel more inviting, functional, and reflective of their brand. Desa Design Studio is reimagining key spaces including the lobby lounge, client lounge zone, kitchenette, and employee lounge areas to create a cohesive, welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.

Desa Design Studio has partnered with the Batavia Fine Arts Centre over several years to update key areas within the facility. Our work includes redesigning the ticketing booth, refreshing the makeup and dressing rooms, and planning the upcoming concession area renovation. These enhancements support a more functional and cohesive experience for performers and guests.

Amplify Investments’ corporate office in the Central Park of Lisle was originally designed by Desa Design Studio, and we recently partnered again as they expanded to double their office capacity. We space planned the new areas, selected materials cohesive with the original design, added a conference room, private offices and open office spaces, integrated sound-proof pods for private conversations, and provided finishing details throughout. Construction for the expansion was completed by Clarion Construction.

Albatross Physical Therapy & Wellness in Naperville features a refined office build-out designed to reflect the brand’s identity while maximizing functionality. The space incorporates an adjusting table, bike, treadmill, and a well-organized workstation with ample storage and guest seating. Desa Design Studio led the interior design, with construction completed by SilverBullet.

Desa Design Studio assisted with the relocation of Mine Lab of America’s corporate headquarters. The project included space planning, finish selection, furniture specification, and integration of branded design elements throughout the office. The firm also sourced furnishings, greenery, and planters to complete the space. Construction was completed in collaboration with Clarion Construction.

For this new construction project, Desa Design Studio was involved from the initial planning stages, providing space planning and selecting all exterior and interior finishes. The team collaborated closely with Cordogan, Clark & Associates, Feel & Bari, and Wegman Construction, as well as an international architect, on custom fabrication details for chandeliers, cabinetry, and millwork—ensuring cultural significance and craftsmanship were reflected throughout the space.

This project involved creative space conversions and full room redesigns. The front room was transformed into a lounge with a beverage station, while an unused shower was converted into a walk-in wine cellar. The main level bathroom and two-story family room were fully redesigned with new finishes, furnishings, lighting, and styling details. Construction was completed in collaboration with SilverBullet Inc.

This multi-part project included a home office with a custom Zoom feature wall, a redesigned primary bedroom, and a family room feature wall paired with new soft furnishings. The basement was fully redesigned to include a media room with stadium seating, a built-in banquette for games and entertaining, and a wet bar. This custom entertainment space was designed with new wall finishes, millwork, and closed cabinetry for storage. A built-in bench conceals the simulator’s computer equipment, while a bar-height countertop behind the bench provides additional seating for entertaining. Desa Design Studio is also overseeing the related pool house build-out and furnishings for the main home. Construction was completed in collaboration with SilverBullet Inc.

This multi-phase residential project spanned several years and included extensive interior updates. Work included a home office with custom built-ins, a refreshed dining room with new furnishings and window treatments, updated family room and basement furnishings, and a reimagined primary suite featuring a custom office nook, TV lounge, and a redesigned bedroom with new furniture, wall coverings, and lighting. This renovation focused on reconfiguring and refreshing the home’s front rooms and family room. An underutilized front room was converted into a combined home office and playroom, while the opening between this space and the family room was modified to improve TV placement. The family room received new millwork, furnishings, paint, and window treatments, while a separate front sitting room was transformed into a lounge with new lighting, wall coverings, furnishings, and window treatments. For this new construction home, Desa Design Studio designed every interior space to transform a blank slate into a warm, character-rich residence. This project centered on a full gut renovation of the kitchen. The scope included refinishing hardwood floors, installing new cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, lighting, appliances, and hardware. Desa Design Studio also furnished the kitchen, dinette, and adjacent sunroom to ensure a cohesive design throughout the main living spaces. This historic Geneva home renovation began with the dining room and expanded throughout the residence. The dining room features a modern-traditional aesthetic with floral wall covering, a custom green glass chandelier crafted from recycled wine bottles, a wood dining table, custom chairs, a credenza, and an antique mirror. Multiple bathrooms underwent full gut renovations and expansions, with Desa Design Studio selecting layouts, finishes, lighting, furnishings, and window treatments throughout. Desa Design Studio was brought in to unify and complete a partially started basement renovation. The full redesign included new flooring, wall and ceiling finishes, and lighting throughout. The bar area was reimagined with a redesigned back bar, upper shelving, integrated TV, new hardware, paint, and bar seating. Living areas feature a redesigned fireplace, feature walls in both the media room and table area, and all new furnishings to create a cohesive, entertainment-focused lower level. Construction was completed in collaboration with SilverBullet Inc.

This Elmhurst residence has undergone a multi-phase, whole-home transformation led by Desa Design Studio. Completed work includes a full redesign of the main level bathroom with a new shower, vanity, lighting, and bold wall covering; a family room refresh with new cabinetry, furnishings, lighting, paint, and a beverage station; and a light kitchen renovation featuring cabinet modifications, updated finishes, and new lighting. Additional spaces include a reimagined dining room, a front sitting room converted into a lounge featuring rotating recent concert posters, and a fully redesigned basement tailored for kids’ entertainment with a TV lounge and kitchenette.
